01 — About

Mr MDNGHT

MDNGHT TCG channel avatar

I started MDNGHT TCG in October 2025 because the competitive Gundam Card Game scene had no home on YouTube. No real tournament footage, no honest deck techs, no matchup analysis from someone who actually sits down and plays the game at a competitive level. So I built it.

Ten months later that's 253 videos, 395,000 lifetime views, and over 31,000 hours watched — a monetized channel with an audience that watches long-form strategy content all the way through. I'm based in Palmdale, California, and I play locals across the Antelope Valley and greater Southern California.

What separates this from a hobby channel is that I ship the whole stack. I write and edit every video, I designed and built Sortie Log as a working product with real payments and a real user base, I run league and tournament formats for local players, and I travel to card shops to film their nights and put their store in front of my audience. Creator, developer, and organizer are the same job here.

Creator

Competitive gameplay, deck techs, meta analysis, and set openings. Long-form first, shorts as reach.

Builder

Sortie Log — a mobile-first companion app for deck building, match logging, and analytics. Shipped, live, and monetized.

Competitor

Active locals and league play. Every strategy video comes from decks I actually pilot.

02 — Selected work

What the catalog looks like

Four long-form videos that show the range: a beginner funnel, a pro decklist collaboration, a strategy breakdown, and a match with commentary. Average view duration on these runs four to eight minutes.

05 — Work with me

Four ways to partner

Rates depend on scope and deliverables. I take on a limited number of paid integrations so the channel keeps its credibility — I only promote products I'd use at a table.

01

Integrated sponsorship

A 45 to 90 second read written in my voice, placed inside a long-form video, with the offer and code pinned in the description and comments.

02

Dedicated product video

A full video built around your product — unboxing, hands-on use at a real event, or a head-to-head against what players currently use.

03

Affiliate & code partnerships

Ongoing commission arrangements with a tracked link and code carried across the description template on every upload.

04

Event coverage & shop nights

On-site filming at your store, tournament, or launch event. See the full shop-night breakdown for footprint, format, and what you get back.

A note on verification. I've been targeted by sponsorship impersonation scams. Brand outreach needs to come from a company domain — I verify before any agreement, and I'd rather lose a deal than take a bad one.

07 — Decklists

The lists I'm actually piloting.

Every deck I feature on the channel lives here — copyable, notated, and paired with the video. If you saw a list in a video and want it, this is the fastest way to grab it.

08 — Contact

Let's talk

Brands, shops, creators, and players all use this form. I read and reply to everything, usually inside a day — including the ones that end in a no.

Brands & sponsors

Send it from a company domain and include the product, the timeline, and the budget range. I'll come back with what I can deliver and what it costs.

Card shops

Tell me your store, your usual Gundam night, and rough turnout. Filming is free to the shop and you keep the footage.

Players & creators

Deck feedback, Sortie Log bugs and features, collab ideas, or naming a shop you'd want me to visit — all welcome.
